Baseball-a-palooza

It's time to start thinking about putting a cap on the 2015 Babe Ruth Baseball year. In the past, we've done a picnic at Fargo South High School and included a swimming pass to the pool. This year we wanted to spice things up a bit.

As we announced earlier this year, there were 3 main things that the new fundraising cards were going to provide for the kids.

The first was a new/better shirt to play in.
The second was a helmet for every kid to keep (league players only).
The last is an enhanced celebration of the season at the end we are calling "Baseballapalooza"
Now, before you start thinking that the kids are already all "Baseballed out" for the summer, Baseballapalooza will be a bit different. So here are the nuts and bolts of the event.

It will be held at our Brunsdale Field baseball parks, 1702 27th Ave S starting at 6 PM on Wednesday, August 5th and go until dark.

It's totally FREE! From food to drinks to games to prizes, everything is 100% FREE!

We will be having 4 different Run/Hit/Throw/Pitch Speed competitions on the fields with prizes for the top finishers in 5 different age divisions! (7/8 | 9/10 | 11/12 | 13 | 14/15)

Run:
Timed run from 2nd to Home
Pitch speed:
Using a Radar Gun
Pitch accuracy:
Hit the target from the 46' rubber
Hitting off a tee for distance AND accuracy:
Hit the ball as far and straight as possible
Compete in none, all, or as many of these events as you like! (Must be a Fargo Babe Ruth player to win a prize but all can participate.)

Nothing puts a cap on a celebration like the games from Games to Go!! From Velcro Walls to Bounce Houses, after you're done with your free food and competitions, take advantage of the fun inflatable games!

So come out to Brunsdale next Wednesday, August 5th starting at 6 PM and lets celebrate the 2015 season together!!!

Please DO NOT call the Park District, they are not staffed for calls.  They will tell us when a final decision has been made on their end.

Please DO NOT call our office for this information, we will post it here and the above locations when we know.

We know making a decision as early in the day as possible is huge for you as parents/coaches, so it is important for us to be able stay off the phones so we can make the quickest decision possible regarding games and then disseminate that info to the masses.  We promise, we won't hold back that info when we get it - it will go here first!
