We are now seeking volunteers for various tasks- Pizza Coordinators, Skills Day Helpers, Skills Day Check In Helpers, League Commissioners, & Draft Day Helpers. If you are able to help us out, click on the "Dibs" tab on the top right had side of the Home Page and claim your volunteer opportunity.

ALL AGE Pitching/Catching Clinic & Baseball Basics Clinic

We have opened the age divisions for the pitching/catching clinic to anyone ages 9-15. If you are interested in learning how to pitch, and the proper fundamentals associated with pitching or catching, this clinic is for you!The registration form for both the pitching/catching clinic & baseball basics clinic is now online. Please click on the link below, and print off the registration form. Please mail the registration form, with payment, to: PO Box 9933 Fargo, ND 58106. These sessions will fill up quickly, so please register as soon as you can. Registration forms will be taken on a first come, first serve basis, and will go by the date in which registration forms are received. There are 25 slots available per session.


Registration is now OPEN for the 2012 Spring/Summer Baseball Season. Deadline is February 14th, 2012.

Baseball season is getting closer and closer, and registration is now open for the 2012 season. Regardless of whether you are looking to play regular league baseball, or try out for the All Star program, you must first register your son/daughter by clicking on the link below. Within the next week, we will be posting an All Star Intent Form online that MUST be filled out prior to attending try outs. In short:

IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN PLAYING REGULAR LEAGUE:
1. Register online by clicking on the link below.

IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN TRYING OUT FOR THE ALL STAR LEAGUE
1. Register online by clicking on the link below.
2. Fill out the All Star Intent Form below.
***MAKE SURE YOU SUBMIT THE TRAVEL INTENT FORM PRIOR TO TRY OUTS!!!***
3. Once teams are drafted, we will host a parents' meeting, and you will pay the difference in fees at that time, so if you have already paid the $115 for ages 9-12, at the parents meeting, you would owe $185 for the All Star team. If your son is drafted on the 13, 14, or 15 year old All Star team, and you have already paid $135, then you would pay $165 for the All Star team.
FYI- There are NO refunds after try outs or skills day, by filling out the registration form for the 2012 spring/summer season; you are committing to Fargo Babe Ruth.

All Star Intent Form

The 2012 All Star Intent Form is NOW ONLINE!!!

If you are interested in participating in the All Star Team try-outs, you MUST fill out this form to participate. Failure to submit this form by the February 14th, 2012 deadline will eliminate your child's chance to try-out for the All Star Team.

Please also remember that you have to register your child for the regular 2012 season prior to filling out the All Star Intent form. Once teams are drafted, there will be a parent's meeting to discuss the program structure, and you will pay the difference in fees at that time.

New Age Cut Off for the 7 Year Old Age Division

 

Fargo Babe Ruth has changed the cut off date for the eligible 7 year old participants. If you were born ON or BEFORE August 31st, 2005, you are eligible to register for Fargo Babe Ruth for the 2012 season. Registration begins on JANUARY 9th, 2012, and ENDS on FEBRUARY 14th! Anyone who registers before the deadline is guaranteed to be placed on a team, anyone registering after the cut off will be placed on a waiting list.

Weather Related Announcements

Game cancellations will be annouced by 4pm on the Fargo Babe Ruth web page. If games are NOT canceled before 4pm then any weather occuring after 4pm will be an onfield decision and will be made by the umpires only. Do NOT call the office or KFGO for rain out information.

Code of Conduct

Fans, Parents, Coaches, and Athletes:

We would like to kindly remind everyone to brush up on the code of conduct for Babe Ruth Baseball. Please remember that we are out to enjoy the game, and to have fun. If you choose not to follow the code of conduct, know that consequences will occur.

 


Regional Baseball Organizations Team Up!!

Fargo Babe Ruth has teamed up with the FM RedHawks and the Minnesota Twins to provide you with two great opportunities.

The FM RedHawks are offering youth teams the opportunity of a lifetime. Teams will be able to stand on the field during the National Anthem, recieve autographs and even have their names announced. Below is a flyer with all the details.

The Minnesota Twins will be sending Rod Carew to Fargo to train Fargo's baseball players. Receive major league instruction and learn to play baseball the Twins way at Rod Carew's Twins Training Camp. Below is a flyer with all the details.

The American Legion Post 2 coaches will be hosting a hitting camp for all ages. See flyer below for details.
