***NOTE - Players wishing to stay with their 2015 Coach will be allowed to do so as part of the Coach application process.  This will be initiated by the COACH, please sign up your player as normal and do not wait for this from the coach.

***NOTE - we have removed the need for a separate "All-Star Intent" form - if your child intends to try out for a Traveling Team, all you need to do this year is answer the question within this Registration form.

2016 Tri-City Division

 

Registration opens January 1st
Registration closes February 14th

Registration fees

  • Cal Ripken (ages 7-12) $125
  • Babe Ruth (ages 13+) $150

Other items:

  • Teams announced Mid-April
  • Games start Mid-May, run thru the end of July
  • 20-game schedule (over 10 weeks)
  • Free jersey and cap
  • Free helmet for all 7, 10 and 13 YO players and new to Babe Ruth players
  • Free end of year Baseballapalooza party!

NEW THIS YEAR!!

  • Day Camps - will involve paid instructors, and will be held every weekday in the various neighborhoods throughout Fargo.  Attendance at these camps is 100% OPTIONAL, does not replace practices with your coach/team, and is offered as part of your registration costs.  Show up when you want and get extra baseball knowledge!
  • Jerseys - Parents/Guardians/Players will be allowed to choose their jersey size and number as part of the registration process.
  • Fundraising Options - we've added several options to help allow players meet the fundraising financial requirements.  YOU choose which option is best when you sign up during Registration (opens 1/1 closes 2/14).
    • Just Cards - Sell a minimum of 10 Coupon Cards (same option as last year, prizes for above minimum sold)
    • Buyout - Pay $150 (Check or Credit/Debit)
    • Half and Half - Sell 5 cards and pay $75 (Check or Credit/Debit)
    • Brunsdale Sign - contact the Office for details
  • Team Compilation (age 10+)
    • Returning coaches will be allowed to request keeping some or all of their players from the previous year
    • New coaches can form teams that emphasize geographical or school affiliation
    • All other players will be placed on teams based on geographical or school affiliation at the Office's discretion
    • Ages 7-9 will continue to be created by the office based on geographical or school affiliation

  • Fundraising/Additional Fees - still being finalized
  • 40-game schedule
  • "Fargo" jersey, hat and pants
  • A minimum of 3 tournaments paid for by Babe Ruth
  • State or Regional tournament
  • For the first time since 2008, Fargo will be hosting a Regional Tournament! (12 Year Old)
  • Day Camps - an OPTIONAL camp involving paid instructors will be held every day in various neighborhoods throughout Fargo.  Show up when you want and get extra baseball knowledge!
  • Team Compilation​
    • Tryouts will be held in March - dates/times/location TBD
    • Teams will be announced the Wednesday after the final tryout, and will be posted on this web site.
    • Tryouts will be conducted by the Coaches and several independent evaluators.  A combination of info from all involved will be used to present the roster to the Traveling Team Committee from the Board of Directors for approval.

TO RENT THE BATTING CAGES:

1. Click "Rent a Location"

2. Type in the Date you wish to reserve the cages

3. Location = Batting Cages

4. Rental Duration = 60 Minutes

5. View Availability

6. Click on the Cart of your choice (Date & Time)

7. View my cart & checkout

8. Continue to checkout

9. Click HOME at the top of your screen to see the finalized schedule

10. Please email fargobaberuth@hotmail.com and let us know you have registered - the office has to give you "member status" to get free cage time. You will receive a confirmation reply once this has been processed.
